Photo Diary: sweets in Japan

Hello

Today I wanted to share some sweets that I've had so far in this post~
 In Japan, Japanese people LOVE their sweets, they have sweets break during the day or after a meal usually accompanied by tea or coffee also there is convenience store, cafe and dessert chains all over where ever you are so you are easily tempted to get sweets lol

First off Mister Donuts
short for MisDo
one of the largest donuts chain in Japan and all over Asia originally from USA, they offer wide variety of donuts, drinks and food. I grew up with Mister Donuts near my house when I lived in Japan so whenever I go MisDo it brings back childhood memories :)

In Japan each food chain offer special limited time seasonal item, this time they have matcha green tea donuts and Ginger donuts ^_^

I end up getting strawberry Bear with cream filling this was 147 yen about $1.85, Misdo sometime have special where they offer all donuts for 100 yen :) This bear donuts was quite good but the strawberry glaze was on a sweet side but I really like the chocolate eyes and mouth lol


Chateraise is natural sweet and gift chain store with locations all over Japan, they offer wide varieties of sweets from cakes to ice cream

 I really love their cakes so light, fluffy and not too sweet! If you find this chain you must try their cakes :)

cheese cake 210 yen $2.60

Dessert from Mini Stop  is a chain convenience store. 
Mini Stop offers huge varieties of sweets more than any other convenience store in Japan! From soft serves to cakes ^_^



here are what I got, they were fairly good but in my opinion it had too much cream in them lol

fruits parfait cup 236 yen about $2.95
roll cake parfait 260 yen $3.25
 Lastly I got to tryout Matcha soft serve when I went to the country side when I visited Gifu~ it was really GOOD! it was 250 yen about $3 they also had coffee jelly float, parfait and Corn and milk flavor soft serve lol



well that was it for this post! If you LOVE sweets make sure to try them out when you go to Japan there are literary everywhere you go lol ^__^
