Hi~ :D
Here is my Limited Edition kit kats review♥
if you are new readers you will get to know that my blog is VERY random lol I feature stuff that I love or things that interests me,, so I hope you like them too :3
so one of my love are snacks and candies! especially asian/Japanese snacks! so LE kit kats are my current obsession and infatuation that I am going through right now since its so cool and interesting to eat so many different cool flavors! In Japan alot of the food makers comes out with limited edition flavors to keep buyers interested in their products so there are consistently new or seasonal flavors with line up of their products so Nestle of Japan always comes up with limited time flavors of their kit kats, so its really cool to try different types of flavors they come up with and fun to eat :3
I put the kit kats in the line up from most favorite to least favorite lol
also I have been buying the LE kit kats and ekiLove candies from www.asianfoodgrocer.com
they have great customer service very prompt and quick, items are nicely packaged and very professional. They have started $5 flat rate shipping from FedEx ground, so how ever many item you get its still $5 for shipping! also free shipping if you spend $75 or more :D I always end up ordering $70 or more since they have huge selection of snacks/candies since I get mostly junk food..... :B lol
also popular items like the kit kats do sell out fast but they do restock often so check back if the kit kats are sold out :D
ok so first this Strawberry chocolate kit kat are my all time favorite flavor tied with matcha kit kats! Tastes exactly like real chocolate covered strawberries! good mix of both flavor, the wafer has strong strawberry flavor its so good! I highly recommend if you love chocolate covered strawberries! X3
with all of LE kit kats with soda fuzzy flavors there is this sour fuzzy flavor to them which I think its really interesting mixed with white chocolate, it does taste exactly like it name sparkling strawberry :)
outside strawberry chocolate inside fuzzy semi sour soda flavored wafers.
Royal milk tea kit kats
If you love Royal milk tea you might love this one, it does have the rich royal milk tea flavor and smell but it is still chocolate so you taste white chocolate equally, still they have captured the great royal milk tea flavor and the wafer tastes really good :D
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this flavor, when I was growing up I loved ginger ale! But I forgot how good ginger ale was and this kit kats sparked my interest again lol X3
it sorta taste and smells like ramune soda, again with soda flavor kit kats the wafer have this sweet sour flavor the ginger ale chocolate tastes really refreshing and interesting, I think this tastes in between ginger ale/Ramune soda, I really like~ it very unique :)
Maple kit kats
This one is still good but I only tasted faint taste of maple more of white chocolate flavor but if you love maple you will still like them. Zach loves maple and he loved them, he thought it was really good and wanted more but I didnt share another one since Kay-chan sent them to me from Japan lol X3
Lemon vinegar kit kat
ok so from the sound of it lemon VINEGAR you think eww or ummm... right :P well its really interesting flavor for them to make of right? its not bad but I didnt really taste the vinegar part it was mostly lemon flavor with milk chocolate flavor, so if you like lemon and chocolate you will like this one.
Kinako is soy powder its is used in traditional wafu sweet snacks usually used with mochi, some people say they taste like peanut butter or peanutty, ohagi is when you make mochi in to balls that is added garnished with usually sweet bean paste its a old traditional japanese dessert,,,so with that said its supposed to taste nutty and sweet beany flavor. well I love kinako they are sooo good with mochi so I thought I would love this one but I was really disappointed,, you know what this taste like to me,, it tastes exactly like Reese's pieces but not as strong peanut butter flavor! I like reese pieces too but I was expecting kinako ohagi! so I guess if you like reese's pieces and peanut butter you will love this one lol X3
well most of the limited edition flavors do get discontinued so some of the flavors here might be already discontinued :( but you can get newer flavors from Asianfoodgrocer and in few asian grocery so if you find them give them a try they are really fun to eat and test your taste buds! ^__^
hope you get to try them too~!
XOXO

Could you please change the font color? Maybe #808080 if you like gray so much. I really can't read anything and it's a shame cuz I've been visiting your blog for so long. It's too frustrating to strain and read so I visit less and less :/ Please and thank you.

ReplyDeleteI never knew there was so many different kit kat flavours!
ReplyDeletethanks for posting, I want to try the strawberry one
hehe I always enjoy reading your posts, Eki! ^_^ especially when you post about snackies, you are definitely the Queen of KitKats haha :P I recently had the regular white chocolate one and my nieces loved it! we tried the sparkling strawberry one too, but not too big a fan of it bc of the sour taste. haha I also have the milk coffee one (like the one you got in one of your love pack from Sandra). hehe took pics of all the kit kats I tried and am going to post soon, but I feel that it would be so pointless posting something that you've already posted in-depth about haha makes me not want to post it :P
ReplyDelete<3 caroline
wow...awesome variations of kit kat... too bad they don't have it in australia...
ReplyDeletehaha i would totally never think to review foods but it's fun reading it! now i have to go to mitsuwa and see if they have any :P
ReplyDeleteOnly chocolate flavor kitkat is sold in India, Nestle should consider bringing out all the flavors in India too.
ReplyDeleteI wish they have that everywhere too!! I dont understand why not it would be a big hit Im sure :P
